Coffee Jewel Lifetime Shine Warranty

At Coffee Jewel, selected gold-plated pieces are finished with PVD coating, a durable jewellery coating made to keep its colour and shine for longer than regular plating.

Our Lifetime Shine Warranty is our promise that eligible Coffee Jewel PVD gold-coated jewellery will not show unusual tarnishing, major colour fading, or coating peel under normal use.

This warranty applies only to products clearly marked as PVD gold-coated on the product page, invoice, or product description.

What Is Covered

The Lifetime Shine Warranty covers eligible PVD gold-coated Coffee Jewel products against:

• Unusual tarnishing
• Major colour fading
• PVD gold coating peeling or flaking
• Manufacturing defects related to coating, finishing, clasps, links, or closures
• Any coating issue that appears despite normal and reasonable use

If your product qualifies after inspection, Coffee Jewel may offer one of the following:

• Repair (if required)
• Re-coating, if possible
• Replacement with the same product (Exact replacement is subject to stock availability)
  
• Store credit (50% of the original value of the product)

The final resolution will depend on the product condition, availability, and inspection result.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Scratches, dents, bending, or crushing
• Accidental breakage
• Pulling, twisting, dropping, or rough handling
• Loss or theft of the product
• Lost stones, pearls, charms, or embellishments unless caused by a manufacturing defect
• Damage caused by perfume, sanitizer, bleach, chlorine, hair products, cleaning liquids, or harsh chemicals
• Damage caused by swimming pools, hot tubs, seawater, or prolonged chemical exposure
  
• Damage caused by improper storage
• Repairs, resizing, polishing, or alteration done by a third party
• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers
• Free gifts, samples, clearance items, or custom-made products, unless stated otherwise

Please note that small surface scratches or natural wear marks can happen with regular use and are not considered coating failure.

Who Can Claim This Warranty

The Lifetime Shine Warranty is available only to the original purchaser.

To claim the warranty, you must provide:

• Coffee Jewel order number or invoice
• Clear photos or videos of the product
• Photos showing the issue clearly
• Any additional details requested by our team

The warranty is non-transferable and cannot be claimed by someone who received the product through resale or unauthorized channels.

Our team will review your request and may ask you to send the product to us for inspection.

Inspection And Approval

All warranty claims are subject to Coffee Jewel’s inspection.

A product must be physically inspected before repair, replacement, or store credit is approved. Photos may help us understand the issue, but final approval may require the product to be checked by our team.

If the issue is covered under this warranty, Coffee Jewel will decide the most suitable solution.

If the issue is not covered, we may still offer a paid repair, paid re-coating, or special replacement discount wherever possible.

Shipping Charges

For approved warranty claims:

- Within the first 6 months of purchase, Coffee Jewel may cover the return shipping or repair shipping charges.

- After 6 months, the customer may be responsible for shipping charges to and from Coffee Jewel.

If the claim is rejected after inspection, the customer may need to pay the return shipping cost.

Product Availability

If the same product is no longer available, Coffee Jewel may offer:

• Store credit
• A repair or re-coating option, if possible

Exact replacement is subject to stock availability.

Warranty Period

This Lifetime Shine Warranty is valid for as long as the original customer owns the eligible PVD gold-coated Coffee Jewel product.

“Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product under normal use. It does not mean unlimited free replacements for accidental damage, misuse, loss, or natural wear and tear.

Important Care Notes

PVD gold coating is durable, but jewellery still needs care. To help your Coffee Jewel piece last longer:

• Store it separately in a dry pouch or box
• Avoid direct contact with perfume, sanitizer, and cleaning chemicals
• Wipe gently after use
• Avoid heavy impact or bending
• Do not use abrasive cloths or harsh cleaners

Proper care helps preserve the shine and finish of your jewellery.

Final Decision

Coffee Jewel reserves the right to approve, reject, repair, replace, or offer store credit for any warranty claim after inspection.

This policy applies only to eligible PVD gold-coated Coffee Jewel products and does not apply to electroplated, water-plated, ion-plated, or other plating types unless clearly mentioned by Coffee Jewel.
